The UOB Painting of the Year Competition has recognised Asia’s budding artists since 1982, providing them with a stepping stone opportunity to showcase their works in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand. Lumina was responsible for the whole event, from conceptualisation to operations for both the awards ceremony and painting exhibition.
Lumina also curated a special act for the event opening, which consisted of a live music performance that interacted with projection content on a translucent screen – especially developed for the event. The opening act featured acclaimed violinist Min Lee, two young violinist talents and a four piece band.
