Conceptualised by Lumina for the Palace of Versailles, the “Virtually Versailles” was born out of a vision to promote the French culture, heritage and expertise to audiences around the world, in particular, Asia which makes up over 1.5 million visitors to the Palace of Versailles each year.
As part of the France-Singapore Year of Innovation programme which aims to highlight and enhance scientific and research partnerships between the two nations, this virtual exploration embodies this goal through the use of digital technology to view the masterpieces on displaying.
Visitors are immersed in the splendours of the Estate of Versailles and the showcase of its rich history through the innovative and interactive tools specially developed for this exhibition.
